What type of
service can I expect?
You are assigned a Loan Specialist who will provide you with the
highest level of mortgage service. Your dedicated Loan
Specialist will work with you through the entire loan process.
He or she is a mortgage professional with experience in many types
of loan products and borrower situations. Your Loan Specialist
is available to speak with you any time during regular business
hours.
When is my
interest rate locked?
Rates fluctuate daily so the rate you see when applying may not be
the actual rate on the loan. Typically, you can request a rate
lock after we have received your loan package and documentation.
We have found that some clients prefer to watch the market before
locking into a rate, while others want to commit as soon as
possible. Please note that our daily deadline to lock a rate
is 3:00 PM, Pacific Time, Monday through Friday.
What kind of
paperwork and records will I need to provide?
The amount of documentation needed depends on what type of loan
program we are seeking to obtain. Generally speaking, for a
fully documented loan, borrowers need to provide income and
employment verification for the last two years, bank account/saving
information and personal identification.
What should be
expected after I apply online?
First, you will receive e-mail notification that we received your
application. You will also receive (typically within two
business days) a loan package from New Life Funding. The
package will include a copy of your application and a list of any
needed documentation. Your completed package is returned to
our office via a prepaid envelope. Should you not receive a
package within two days, please call our office.
I'm
purchasing a home. Is there someone who will work with my
Realtor?
Yes.
Each loan is assigned to one Loan Specialist who works closely with
you throughout the entire process. He or she can assist your Realtor
at any time.
When is an
appraisal ordered?
We'll
arrange for an appraisal of your property and use your estimated
value as a guideline. Appraisals are paid COD directly to the
appraiser. Appraisals can be ordered at different times
throughout the application process. Typically it is ordered
when your Loan Specialist calls you following review of your
application.
Where do I
sign my loan documents?
If you are
purchasing a home, your closing agent will be chosen by your Realtor
or we can select one for you. If you're refinancing property,
we'll select an agent for you. Either way, the location will
be nearby and in many cases the documents are signed at a location
of your choice.
Does New
Life Funding share information with other companies?
New Life
Funding is committed to your right to privacy. For this reason, we
ask only the minimal information necessary to quote you products
with accuracy. We do not share your personal data with anyone,
unless you request us to do so. Once your application is in process,
you can be guaranteed that all client information will be protected.
How has New
Life Funding provided a secure environment for applying for a loan
online?
New Life
Funding is very aware of the sensitive nature of loan application
data. For this reason, we do not require account information on our
online applications. There is ample time to obtain account details
once your application is in process. We do however offer a secure
server option for your application so that no information you send
us over the Internet can be read by someone intercepting the
transmission.
